i have started to make some patchwork quilts
i have made a proper quilt for years
i did them as part of my sewing at school and then carried on to make them while the eldest boy was small !!
so here we are so far !!

Oooh really pretty. And you've wisely gone for squares. I started quilting my hexagon quilt that I made years ago but never quilted. Now I've started and it's a nightmare.
Look forward to seeing the finished item. I fancy making some more myself this year. As you say, 'The Stash' definitely needs reducing.
I love your quilts! I have lots of bits and pieces that need to be used up ... think you may have inspired me to get quilting!!!
