I love Christmas

I have to say i love Christmas
the whole thing is very relaxed in our house
no pressure to be like the scene for a magazine just family and food and presents and chilled outness !!
The one thing i have found and i think me and V chatted about it a lot on Monday was getting more organised earlier !!!

Yesterday we had a bit of a trip to the sales not a massive splurge just some books for the kidlets and some nice gift sets from Boots for me and himself , we dont go mad in the sales !!
Lets face it its only a bargain if its something you actually need !!


i also love the time i get to sit and hand sew while the kidlets play with there new toys !!
see donuts above !!!

I have been wanting to make a cute purse for a while but i have been to busy so after everyone was fed on Christmas eve i made this !!!

Anyway must dash off to the shop for milk and bread
enjoy the rest of the holidays x x x

Oh i have been a bad blogger !!
Im sorry for the lack of posts but i have had such a busy week
I have started my 10 week digital imaging and photography course
which i have to say is brilliant

While i was out and about taking some photos


This is Torr vale mill
I love old mill buildings
I was so excited ( yes i know .. sad )
when the kidlets did about the Victorians and mill working conditions



I took this

This man had jumped over a wall to get his ball back
below him is a big drop to a railway line and then an even bigger drop to the valley below


I have also been sewing and trying to get my stock levels up for the summer fairs

this is now a little purse
i am also doing a larger one for t-shirts

I am sewing like a mad thing as
well as having a big spring clean and getting unwanted
stuff on ebay !!

Workwise
I am hoping to get lots of summer bags and purses and other nice things listed in my ebay shop
im working on filling each place up for summer
ebay seemed a good place to start !!

Anyway its gone lunchtime and im still in my jammys
i have been busy tidying up ;0)

Were off to enjoy some of the sunshine
lets hope its not like last Sunday when we were
stuck out in a big thunderstorm with the kidlets and no flipping coats !!

a few wips !!

a pretty dolly that needs a hat

a little kitty cat that needs a face

well i did say i wanted a kitten !!
this is a new wip so it stands a good chance of getting finished while i watch tv tonight ..

these are more ufo's than wip's .. not that thats any excuse !!
a small rabbit that has been sat waiting for a nose yes thats all a nose ,
i now it would take two minutes and this poor little thing has been sat with the spotty dog for a few months !!

i found these as well .. under the rabbit , they are the little felt shapes i used to stitch and put on my cards , another thing ive been planning to do for months !!
(theyre bags and a little house)

oh heres the spotty dog who needs to fill out a little , i was in such a hurry to sew him up i didnt put enough stuffing in ...

these are the things that i make up as samples and
then an order for bags or the like comes along and they just sit there ,
i shall finish them off and i think they will be future things to take to fairs or maybe to send to Cornwall .

so today is a day to do all those little jobs that need finishing
oh and make the girls some school bags , go to pay bills and post out the things that have sold since Tuesdays trip to the post office !!
i must also hunt all the things i have hidden away for Kittys birthday !!

i also have a bag design to tweek which should lead to something very exciting for me
fingers crossed !!

more pretties ...

my machine and me have called a truce on zips !!
for some reason my little sewing machine has never really liked to do zips
but after days off tweaking this is what we came up with ..

and then because were on a roll we made this one and a brown posy fabric one too

mr postie also brought me these today they have travelled along way
and im sooo pleased to see them ....

we have flower buttons

cherries ( sorry for the crappy photo i need a new camera )

these lovely apples

and finally these very funky chunky strawberries

they are to go in my ebay shop with some beads i have for sale
and some patchwork fabric pieces .... i may have to keep a few for myself ;0)
