the weather has been a bit iffy to say the least !
Living in the countryside is not a barrel of laughs when the weather is bad !
Growing up here myself, i know how bored the children can get !
The country live is fab but what do you do when it's raining ...
well in our case you can pack the children in the car
and take a short drive upto Chee dale / Millers dale and have a lovely walk with lots of things to see !
Including these fab but slightly spooky lime kilns
It was really dark in there and you could only see it here on the photo
i took with the flash on ..
We also managed to grab an evenings walk to which was nice the boys watched 2 kestrels hunting and i just enjoyed the amazing view
