away so long ...

i have been away from blogging for so long now that i just don't know how to catch up !
Life has been really hectic here !
We have done lots of fairs including our first biggy (ok big for us) !
I have wanted to do a bigger fair (5000+ footfall) for a while but never thought able to until this Summer when i took the plunge and booked a big for us fair,
it seemed ages away but what with a bad back, illness and broken machine trauma it rollled round really quickly !
The shopping weekend / fair was at the Devonshire Dome in Buxton by the way x

So after lots of worrying and lots of sewing and some spending ... i did give myself a strict budget for display props (the box in the top photo being one of them ) and luckily found them all locally and very cheapily too ;o}
I shall take some photo's of them at my next fair !

The day of the fair i felt really positive and happy... the stand looked fab (sorry no photo's the camera was the one thing we forgot ) and the sales rolled in all day .

We have to admit we didn't expect as many sales as we had and needed so much more stock in hindsight ( will know better for next year ).

The whole weekend was amazing for us and we have already asked about next years already !

Now if you are wondering about this we i keep talking about that is my wonderful DD and me ... we have lots of plans for next year and lots more big fairs !

Anyway after the fair we didn't have long before the next one and also the massive catch up on orders ..

Here we are now mid way through the fairs .. tired but happy with them so far !

Anyway life is good here at the moment and i hope life is good for all of you lovely lots too xx
